Dance Parade, 2022 Press Release for Chair of Joy™ TourApril 8, 2022
Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. The national movement to raise awareness about mental health addresses stigma provides support, educates the public, and advocates for policies that support people with mental illness and their families.
We have to deal with mass shootings, pandemic guidelines, climate change, natural disasters, politics, and public safety and even if you have a phone, this impacts the well-being of everyone.
Sheryl Lynn, Visionary Founder of Chair of Joy™ Movement and CEO of JOYELY, LLC built Chair of Joy™ Experience Program to guide people to decisively create joy on-demand and rise above the chaos. Chair of Joy™ (COJ) concept is designed as a cross-functional, elegant, mindful system that is easy to implement, generating immediate results for so many. Organizations, corporations, and families are creating common ground so that life is more productive and engaging.
“Our brains developed biologically for survival, not happiness,” says Sanjay Kumar, Director of Contemplative Practices and Well-Being at the Fish Interfaith Center at Chapman University in Orange, CA. “The human mind prioritizes negative experiences to be remembered more strongly than positive ones, as a way for us to anticipate potential threats in our environment.”
Sheryl Lynn works with organizers of events so that participants can leverage the emotion of joy at work and home. Her firm works with people to align hopes, dreams, and goals for maximum results.

Sheryl Lynn says, “In order to address all that is coming at us, we have to know how to create joy. This shows us what’s important, what we stand for, and only then can we make decisions that benefit us fully. The problem is how to get there when we are inundated with chaos and confusion. When parents, teachers, CEOs, seniors, and children know joy, they can then decide to remember positive memories, so life is less about hard work and more about living with ease and grace.”
Some of the cities that Lynn will visit through May 2022 are Appleton, WI (May 1), Sarasota, FL, Washington DC, Baltimore, MD, NYC, NY. The COJ will be featured at the NYC Dance Parade on May 21, 2022 in Thompkins Park. This COJ Tour for the first time ever will include a Children’s Chair of Joy™ in collaboration with Kids Revolution and BeSoulGood.
Since 2020, Sheryl Lynn has traveled to 50 cities with thousands of people experiencing the Chair of Joy™. Sixteen (16) Golden Circle Coaches were accredited through her organization to keep up with the increasing demand for JOYELY corporate programs that work.
Sitting in the Chair of Joy™ is a daily opportunity to reset negativity. Instead of staying focused on stress, Lynn welcomes the public to Pull Up A Chair because It’s Time for Joy. The 4-step process: Sit. Breathe. Think and Feel is transforming the workplace into a more expansive environment in every Key Performance Indicator. (KPI)
