Joanna G. Burish is a licensed financial planning advisor with Northwestern Mutual where she runs a family office specializing in a holistic financial planning approach. As a trusted fiduciary advisor, she provides her clients with significant ways to exercise more power and control over their finances.

Prior to her position with Northwestern Mutual Joanna held several CEO and C-Suite positions within the real estate and family office space where she was responsible for a wide variety of results including:

• Successfully refinanced $200 million dollars on more than 1.5 million square foot real estate portfolios through new banking relationships and deal restructures.

• Facilitating a long-time real estate family in their second-generation succession planning resulting in a 20% increase in company profitability.

• Collaborated with the city of Madison, WI to implement a tax incremental funding for a major private real estate developer which allowed for expanded building opportunities for small businesses.

• Implemented a holistic financial plan for various professional athletes and celebrity actors, producers and singers in Hollywood with a focus on asset protection and long-term wealth management growth.

In addition to her work in the financial field, Joanna’s career path has included acting in well-known film and TV such as Ocean’s 11, Days of Lives and General Hospital. She has also produced various film and music soundtracks and handled worldwide licensing rights for music and film, including film distribution at The Cannes Film Festival.

Among her proudest endeavors is the founding of The Bauds Network whose mission is “women empowering and mobilizing women professionally and personally.” Joanna is also a community leader involved in various start-up businesses and non-profits.

Joanna is a licensed financial advisor in multiple states, a licensed real estate broker in the state of Wisconsin and received her BA in Accounting, and a Masters in Executive Management from the University of Wisconsin.
